Installed in the Canadian Embassy in Tokyo, First Snow, Tokyo was a site-specific work which the viewer gazed into through the window and locked doors of the gallery. As if suddenly brought to a standstill by the forces of nature, installation equipment was covered with a layer of newly fallen (artificial) snow.
