Punti di Vista, 1992, catalogs, plaster, wooden skid, 42" x 42" x 10"
Punti di Vista (Points of View) was executed in Spoleto, Italy. The catalogues used in the work were from previous exhibitions at the same site. They were given to me before leaving Canada to aid in envisioning the site in advance. Once on site I removed pages from these catalogues, cut their photos out and replaced them with plaster casts of elements in the actual space which could be seen in the photos. This piece was shown in a tower adjacent to the main exhibition building.
